A. IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please be sure of ALL the followings before you apply：
  1. DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS, PLEASE BE NOTED THAT LAST MINUTE APPOINTMENT REQUEST IS STRICTLY NOT ACCEPTABLE, AND NOT AVAILABLE.

  2. CONTACT THE EMBASSY AT LEAST 1 MONTH BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE FROM KUWAIT for the trip to Japan, to secure your appointment well ahead of time (noting that single-entry VISA is valid for 3 months from the date of issue).
    ＜IMPORTNAT＞
    →　If you are going to Japan during the below-mentioned high season, you must secure your appointment AT LEAST 1.5 – 2 MONTHS in advance.
    1. Eid Al Fitr
    2. Eid Al Adha
    3. SUMMER (June-July-August)
    4. New Year
    5. March and April

  3. By the time answering your appointment request call, the Embassy will ONLY LOOK FOR THE NEAREST AVAILABILITY OF THE APPOINTMENT OF THE MOMENT (SUBJECT TO CHANGE), and is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIVIDUAL’S (including commercial / business ) TRAVEL SCHEDULE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. FURTHER, THE EMBASSY CANNOT ACCOMMODATE ANY PERSONAL (and commercial) SITUATION.
    → Thus, EACH APPLICANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SCHEDULE：
    （1） when to start preparing all required documents
    （2） when to approach to the Embassy for taking appointment based on their own flight schedule, by noting that:
    1. last minute appointment is NOT available
    2. VISA assessment takes 3 WORKING DAYS OR MORE for Kuwaiti National / 6 WORKING DAYS OR MORE for Non-Kuwaiti National from the date of acceptance.

  4. If the date of your departure from Kuwait for the trip to Japan is earlier than：
    （1） the nearest availability of the appointment      AND     
    （2） the date we will finalize the assessment (3 WORKING DAYS OR MORE for Kuwaiti National / 6 WORKIN DAYS OR MORE for Non-Kuwaiti National)
    →     WE CANNOT ACCEPT YOUR APPLICATION unless you change (delay) your（1）flight schedule and（2）hotel reservations accordingly.

  5. THE EMBASSY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSS AND ANY KINDS OF DAMAGE incurred by applicants under any circumstances.

  6. PLAN AND APPLY FOR YOUR VISA WELL AHEAD OF TIME – ANY FORM OF LAST MINUTE APPOINTEMENT REQUEST IS STRICTLY NOT ACCEPTABLE AND NOT AVAILABLE.

  7. Appointment can be made through the phone call only.

B. General Information

  • Each applicant is required to take an appointment in advance to submit applications.
  • Appointment timing is available between 8:30AM – 11:30AM on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday, except on Embassy Holidays *subject to change) only.
  • The availability of appointment is subject to change.
  • EACH DAY OF APPOINTMENT WILL BE ALREADY AS SOON AS IT GETS FULL ー therefore, NO APPOINTMENT CAN BE MADE ON THE SAME DAY you call us.
  • Once your documents are ready, contact us by phone for taking appointment.
  • On the phone, you are requested to provide the following information:
  1. The date of departure from Kuwait for the trip to Japan
  2. First name(s) and family name(s) of all the applicants coming to the Embassy
  3. Civil ID number(s) of all the applicants coming to the Embassy
  4. Number of Applicant(s)
  5. Nationality(-ies) of Applicant(s)
  6. Mobile Number (only 1 number is enough)
  • Once you get an appointment, you must take a note to remember your appointment date and time by yourself ー THE EMBASSY WILL NOT SEND ANY FORM OF CONFIRMATION NOR REMINDER.
