Welcome
to our website. Japan and Kuwait enjoy firm relationship in various
aspects based upon mutual interests and understanding. In April 2007,
then Prime Minister Shinzo ABE visited the state of
Kuwait and both countries issued a Joint
Statement to enhance cooperation and peace in the Middle East. In July
2008 Prime Minister H.H. Shaikh Nasser paid an official visit to Japan and
issued a Joint Statement which follows up the previous Joint Statement and
further promotes the bilateral relations. In 2011 both countries agreed to
celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic
relations.
This website is rich in useful information regarding not only Embassy
activities but also Visa procedures and scholarship programs as well as
informative links on Japan. You can find necessary information of Japan
and history of bilateral relationship between both countries throughout
the website.
Japan is a country of diversities. Tokyo is one of the most exciting
cities in the world. Japan has fourteen world heritage sites, historical
and natural. You will notice that each site shows a different picture of
Japan. It is rich in culture with exquisite taste of food. I have been
told that people here often say “Japan is an expensive country.” On the
contrary, I wish to say that Japan offers various ranges of choices. It
may have expensive places, but most of the places offer reasonable prices
with excellent quality. Japan is a place where it offers value for money.
You will also know through this website that our country is so attractive
that everyone can spend enjoyable and unforgettable time there. I hope
that this website surely shows you the real picture of Japan.
If you have any questions on Japan, please feel free to contact us. Our
staff always waits for you. It is my great pleasure if this website brings
you a big trigger for visiting Japan or learning Japanese language and
culture.
